Wet road conditions may have caused 18-wheeler crash that blocked several lanes on 610 North Loop

Along with heavy rain and thunder creating an inconvenience to our Wednesday morning, an 18-wheeler crash caused several lanes to be shut down for drivers headed toward 610 North Loop,

Authorities said they were called to investigate an early morning crash that started around 3:30 a.m. involving an 18-wheeler and a pickup truck impacting several of the westbound lanes at Fulton past Irvington Boulevard.

It’s unclear what led up to the crash and no injuries have been reported, as of this writing, but police said the roads were still wet when they got to the scene.

No additional information has been shared, as of this writing, but the roadway has since cleared after it was shut down for several hours.
