Video: Moment University of Houston’s sexual assault suspect arrested by METRO police

The METRO Police Department is sharing new surveillance video of when the man accused of sexually assaulting a student at the University of Houston was arrested.

The video is brief but shows several hours taking down Eric Brown, who previously had been on the run for about 10 days since he was mistakenly released from jail. Watch the full video below:

Investigators said Brown was accused of sexually assaulting a student inside her vehicle at knifepoint and taken into custody later that night but released nearly 24 hours after his arrest.

Brown remains in jail, facing aggravated sexual assault and robbery charges on a $15 million bond.
