Houstonians were eagerly awaiting the rare Blood Worm Moon total lunar eclipse early this morning.

A total lunar eclipse happens when the moon passes into Earth’s shadow, turning a deep red color. This eclipse was visible for just over an hour, with the maximum eclipse occurring at 1:59 a.m. CST.
