HOUSTON, Texas – A husband and wife have been arrested and charged after allegedly shooting a man in his chest after an argument over their children.
On Monday, March 17, deputies with the Harris County Precinct 4 Office responded to reports of a man being shot in the 24400 block of Osprey Point Drive near Hockley.

When deputies arrived, they found a man shot in the chest. The victim told deputies that he and his wife planned a meetup with the parents of their daughter’s boyfriend to ask them for help in keeping their son away from their daughter as she is too young to be dating. Deputies said an argument started, which led to one of the mothers, Angelica Madison handing a gun to her husband, Luther Madison II.
Deputies said Luther started shooting toward the victim and his wife, striking the man in his chest. After striking the husband, deputies said Luther turned the gun on his wife and threatened her.

“Luther Madison II and Angelica Madison were arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail. Luther was charged with two counts of Aggravated assault with a Deadly Weapon. His total bond was set at $100,000.00. Angelica Madison was charged with one count of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. Her bond was set at $25,000.00 out of the 178th District Court,” said Harris County Pct. 4 Constable Mark Herman.
