Stafford police searching for man on the run after allegedly shooting woman

Stafford police are searching for a man on the run after they believe he shot a woman.

At approximately 12:07 p.m. Monday, Stafford Police Department responded to a reported shooting in the 12900 block of Sugar Ridge Boulevard.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a 31-year-old female victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

The suspected shooter, whom authorities have identified as Jeremy Banguero, fled the scene in a red 2023 Chevrolet Silverado with Texas license plate SSF-5049.

The victim received immediate medical attention and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Her condition remains undisclosed at this time.
