Harris County deputies bust chop shop linked to stolen vehicles

Authorities in Harris County have uncovered a chop shop operating in Houston. – Deputies with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office uncovered a chop shop operating in the Houston area.

The shop allegedly accepted vehicles known to be stolen and stripped them for parts that could be sold separately.

One suspect involved in the operation was wanted for a felony warrant. He was arrested and also charged with failure to identify himself.

Deputies said a second suspect fled the scene. Investigators have not confirmed whether or not the second suspect has been arrested as of this writing.
