It was a busy Friday morning for law enforcement across the Houston area as multiple agencies teamed up to arrest four suspects connected to a kidnapping case out of Oklahoma.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office says the arrests happened at four different locations across several counties, thanks to a coordinated effort between local, state, and federal teams — including help from law enforcement in Oklahoma.

SWAT teams from multiple agencies moved in to serve search and arrest warrants, and all four suspects were taken into custody without any trouble.

One of the suspects, 43-year-old Brandon Ford, was arrested right in Montgomery County. He’s now facing charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Failure to Register as a Sex Offender.

On top of the arrests, investigators say they also recovered multiple firearms and a large amount of drugs during the raids.

The Sheriff’s Office is giving a big thank-you to all the agencies involved — from the DEA and FBI to DPS, HPD, and several SWAT teams — saying this kind of teamwork is key to getting violent offenders off the streets.
