Man shot to death by his friend after fight in north Harris County

HOUSTON – A man is dead after deputies say he was shot to death by one of his friends during a fight in north Harris County.

Deputies with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of a shooting in the 200 block of West Camino Road around 2 a.m.

When they arrived, they found a 41-year-old man dead from an apparent gunshot wound. The man had apparently been involved in an ongoing fight with his friend when the shooting occurred.

Deputies said two of the 41-year-old man’s family members were inside the home when the shooting occurred, but they were not injured.

The suspected shooter fled the scene before deputies arrived.
