Father-in-law, son-in-law killed in apparent murder-suicide in northwest Houston

HOUSTON – Two men were killed in a murder-suicide in northwest Houston.

It happened on Peavine Circle and Sonneville Drive at about 9 p.m. Saturday.

Police said a 50-year-old man and 19-year-old son-in-law were drinking when an argument broke out. One of them pulled out a gun and shot the other.

The gunman then turned the gun on himself.

Both men died at the scene.

Police did not identify which man was the gunman. It was also unclear what the men were arguing about before the shooting.

The investigation is on-going.
