HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Deputies with the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office are investigating a major crash involving a teenage girl riding a gas-powered mini bike near Ella Boulevard and Wied Road, south of Spring Cypress Road.
According to Constable Mark Herman’s Office, the crash involved a single vehicle. Emergency crews responded to the scene and transported the juvenile to a local hospital, where they later confirmed she died from her injuries.

The girl has been identified as a student at Klein Independent School District.
Authorities have not released additional details about what led to the crash.
As deputies and crash investigators continue processing the scene, northbound Ella Boulevard near Louetta Road has been shut down. Officials are urging drivers to avoid the area and expect significant traffic delays.

Dear Klein Collins, Schindewolf, and Kreinhop Families,
It is with great sadness that we inform you that our Klein Collins student passed away from injuries sustained in this morning’s motorized bike accident on the way to school.
We recognize this is very difficult news, and our thoughts and prayers are with their loved ones.
At this time, we will not be sharing the child’s name as we are respecting the family’s privacy and their time to grieve. If there is something we can do to assist the family as a community, we will share that information with you.
We have counselors who are available to support students and staff. If you feel your child would benefit from speaking with a counselor, please do not hesitate to contact the school counseling office.
