Houston police investigating reports of a body found in wooded area near Buffalo Bayou, Beltway 8

HOUSTON – Police are investigating after receiving reports of a body found in a wooded area of west Houston, near Buffalo Bayou and the Sam Houston Beltway.

The Houston Police Department said they got the call around 8:55 a.m. Friday in the 10400 block of Deerwood Road.

Law enforcement later confirmed with KPRC 2 the case is being investigated as a suicide.
