Back-to-school reminders
As students return to school, drivers are reminded to slow down in school zones, watch for children crossing the street and stop for school buses when required by law.
Families should also prepare for heavier traffic during morning and afternoon commutes, especially near campuses and along major roadways.
With students heading back to class over the next two weeks, parents are encouraged to check with their child’s school for campus-specific schedules, bus routes and any orientation or meet-the-teacher events before the first day.
