HOUSTON – Former Klein High School head football coach has been arrested after an investigation into allegations of sexual abuse involving a former student, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
Nicholas Alan Codutti, 43, faces charges of indecency with a child and sexual performance by a child. The alleged incidents occurred in Harris County in 2018 and 2019.

The investigation began April 29, 2026, after Child Protective Services received a report alleging longstanding sexual abuse involving a minor and former Tomball ISD student. HCSO detectives later developed information indicating the alleged abuse began when the survivor was a minor and continued for several years.
Codutti was employed as Campus Athletic Director and Head Football Coach at Klein High School when the allegations surfaced. He was asked to “step away” from campus when school officials learned of the investigation. After receiving notification of his arrest, Klein ISD terminated his employment.
Detectives filed charges against Codutti on Sept. 25. He was taken into custody by members of the HCSO Violent Criminal Apprehension Team, assisted by District 1 patrol deputies, on Saturday. He was booked into the Harris County Jail.
