HOUSTON – The Washburn Tunnel will be closed every weekend for the rest of the month for repairs.

The northern entrance to the tunnel, which runs beneath the Houston Ship Channel between Galena Park and Pasadena, was damaged in a wreck involving an 18-wheeler in late 2010.
