HOUSTON – A man is recovering after getting shot in the leg in southwest Houston Sunday morning.
Police said the man was shot while he was driving down Beechnut near the North Loop in a blue Celica.

There is a bullet hole on the passenger side of the car.
The man was transported to the hospital in an ambulance and is expected to survive, according to investigators.
Police said they do not have any suspect in custody and do not have a suspect or vehicle description.
