HOUSTON – Physically-challenged Houstonians may have some trouble getting around Tuesday, as METROLift was dealing with technical difficulties with its computers.
METRO told KPRC 2 that issues have sprung up with its scheduling and Sprint network. Those issues were resolved by 11:30 a.m., but officials said riders may still experience delays as crews work to catch up with the backlog.

As KPRC 2 investigative reporter Bill Spencer noted in 2016, every year more than 17,000 passengers depend on METROLift for more than 2 million rides.
