HOUSTON – A motorcyclist is dead after he crashed into the side of an 18-wheeler.
It happened just before 7 p.m. Monday in northwest Harris County.

Investigators say Alan King was behind the wheel of an 18-wheeler, when he pulled out of a parking lot and blocked several lanes of traffic on Fallbrook near Fallbrook Pines as he waited to turn.
That's when sheriff deputies say a man on a motorcycle who didn't see the 18-wheeler slammed into the side of it.
Investigators say the motorcyclist tried to stop, but couldn't before he hit the 18-wheeler.
The man was taken by Life Flight helicopter to Memorial Hermann Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
His identity has not been released.
