HOUSTON – A new parking lot is coming to Hobby Airport.
The proposal was approved by Houston City Council Wednesday.

The Mayor's Office told Local 2 the new parking garage will have more than 2,500 parking spaces, a smart parking space locator system and a new revenue control system.
The project will cost about $52 million and is part of the Hobby Airport expansion.
It's expected to be completed some time in 2015.
