A friend of Tahorma Stephen Gboyah, 58, found his body inside his home in 8400 Nairn about 11:55 a.m. on Thursday.

The woman became concerned after she called him multiple times with no answer.  Gboyah had been ill the previous week and the woman went to his residence to check on him.  When she arrived, she knocked on the door and then entered.  She continued through the apartment until she found Gboyah deceased on the bedroom floor.

Police said Gboyah had suffered blunt force trauma.

Investigators learned Baimba had been staying with Gboyah for several days prior to his death.

Additional evidence at the scene, as well as witness statements, led to charges filed against Baimba.  He was traveling in a gold Honda Accord that belonged to Gboyah.
Baimba was arrested Friday while driving Gboyah's vehicle and was taken into custody without incident.
