The Fort Bend County Office of Emergency Management released a statement that read in part:
"The road is low here, and waters from Snake Creek, the San Bernard River, and surrounding lakes and ponds tend to overflow and cover the roadway."
Officials said that the San Bernard River gauge at Boling shows the river at above 28 feet. Authorities predict it will rise to 30 feet Sunday, and will cause more water on roadways near the neighborhood.
