HOUSTON – When you pay extra to park at an airport, you often have extra piece of mind believing you and your car are safe. But for one flier, that was far from the truth.
Marjana Roach returned to Houston after a one-day trip to find her Cadillac at Hobby Airport without its four tires or rims.

"I walked around the car and, low and behold, all four wheels and tires had been removed," Roach said.
Criminals had stolen all four of the wheels and tires off her 2012 Cadillac STS. They left her vehicle sitting on a couple of old truck tires.
"'Really?' That's what went through my mind. You've got to be kidding me. How would somebody have the time without anybody seeing to remove wheels and tires from a vehicle?" Roach said.
While she's upset about what happened to her car, Roach said she is also concerned about what she feels is lax security in the airport parking garage. No security cameras are installed in that section, which is not far from the terminal.
"If somebody's got time to remove wheels and tires from a car, they've got time to abduct or hurt somebody. That's scary and I'd like to see the airport change their policies and make sure there are cameras," Roach said.
No one with the airport would comment. Houston police said 98 incidents of theft were reported. That's about a 6.5 percent increase from 2010.
Meanwhile, Roach is driving a rental car while her tires and wheels are replaced, which Roach said will cost about $5,600.
