A Utah man who found himself stuck in a boiler room while hiding from police ended up having to reach out to authorities for help, reports The Associated Press.
Shane Paul Owen, 46, was wanted for a string of burglaries and was pursued by police Monday when he found himself running into a church to avoid arrest.
More than six hours after Owen was accidentally locked in a church's boiler room, he dialed 911 requesting to be rescued. A SWAT team held a standoff outside the church until Owens called.
