Houston Texans Draft Party details announced

HOUSTON – Houston Texans fans are invited to come out to the 2014 Houston Texans Draft Party presented by Coors Light on Thursday, May 8, at Reliant Stadium, the team announced Monday.

The Draft Party begins at 5 p.m. and the 2014 NFL Draft begins at 7 p.m. The party is free but requires a ticket.

On Tuesday, April 15 at 10 a.m. CDT, Texans season ticket holders and Priority Wait List members will have an exclusive opportunity to download tickets, with a limit of four tickets per account. Members of the Texans' official fan clubs will have the opportunity to download tickets beginning Wednesday at 10 a.m.

Then on Thursday, April 17 at 9 a.m., tickets will become available to the general public.

Parking at the Draft Party is free in the Blue Lot on the south end of Reliant Stadium.

NFL Network's draft coverage will be shown on the HDTVs throughout the 100 Level Concourse and Texans Radio on SportsRadio 610 will broadcast live from the Party Deck, with commentary and analysis from "The Voice of the Texans," Marc Vandermeer, and a number of special guests.

Texans players and Texans Ambassadors will sign autographs and the 2014 Houston Texans Cheerleaders squad will make their debut performance.

Children can play in the TORO's Kids Club Kids Zone presented by Kroger, which will feature interactive games, a balloon artist and appearances by TORO and Deep Steel Thunder.

Photo opportunities will also be available in Memory Alley in sections 120 and 122.
