KPRC Sports Director Randy McIlvoy talks Texans 0-2 start

Houston – The 2015 season is not off to a promising start for the Texans. I predicted an 8-8 season before the opener because this team had question marks. While many drank the Kool-Aid  I couldn't go there.

After a Sunday loss, the Monday and Tuesday afterwards are always bad.  Food doesn't taste good, fans are cranky and we all miss out on those freebies and discounts from Papa John's and Sonic offer after a win.

Didn't get that again for a second straight week!

Inexperience at quarterback, Arian Foster's groin issue, no depth on the offensive line stood out to me prior to the season beginning.

I thought the defense would be the strength but so far I am way off on my projection after they've allowed an average of 25 points a game through the first two weeks.

Next up is Tampa Bay on Sunday at noon. Here's more with the Texans at NRG as they start their new week and hopefully a step closer to a win.
