HOUSTON – The Houston Rockets have added more depth at center signing veteran big man Nene, a source confirmed with KPRC 2 Sports on Wednesday.
While Clint Capela is the likely starter, Nene brings 15 years of experience to the Rockets.

He has agreed to a 1-year deal and tweeted out that he was happy to be joining the Rockets organization. The agreement is reportedly worth just under $3 million.
Nene played 10 years in Denver with the Nuggets and the past five with the Washington Wizards.
The 33-year-old had 9.2 PPG and 4.5 RPG last season with the Washington Wizards.
He has been targeted by GM Daryl Morey in the past.
After losing Dwight Howard to Atlanta, the Rockets signed Ryan Anderson, Eric Gordon and now Nene.
