Peyton Manning was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2021, won two Super Bowls, and is widely regarded as one of the best quarterbacks of all time. And Eli Manning also had a lengthy and successful NFL career, with two Super Bowl rings. Manning’s father, Cooper, was a receiver at Ole Miss.
This latest version from the Manning family tree has thrown for 72 touchdowns and almost 6,000 yards in his first three years at New Orleans’ Isidore Newman High School, according to ESPN. Manning’s high school teammate, tight end/H-back Will Randle, also committed to the Longhorns earlier this week.
Manning chose UT in Texas over colleges such as Georgia, Ole Miss, and Alabama over the last few months.

All current commitments are verbal and non-binding until the student-athlete signs, with the early signing period for the Class of 2023 coming in December.
