HOUSTON – Houston Texans veteran offensive guard and Pro Bowl candidate Shaq Mason held his seventh annual ‘A Shaq Christmas’ in his hometown of Columbia, Tenn., giving back to elementary school students.
The Shaq Mason Foundation surprised each student at Howell Elementary School of the Maury Public School District with a smart tablet to aid the learning process as well as a bag full of toys.

Mason was acquired in a trade from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this offseason and signed to a three-year, $36 million contract extension negotiated by his longtime agent, Deryk Gilmore, of Day 1 Sports and Entertainment.
Mason has started every game for the 8-6 Texans.
A former New England Patriots fourth-round draft pick, Mason is a two-time Super Bowl champion. He has started 129 of 134 career games.
