Texans place wide receiver Noah Brown on injured reserve with season-ending shoulder injury

Wide receiver dealt with shoulder, back and groin injuries this season

HOUSTON – Texans veteran wide receiver Noah Brown’s season is over.

Brown suffered a season-ending shoulder injury Saturday against the Cleveland Browns in an AFC wild-card playoff game at NRG Stadium.

Brown was previously on injured reserve with a groin injury before being activated and then injuring his back, sustaining a transverse process fracture in two places, per league sources.

Brown has caught 33 passes for 567 yards and two touchdowns, averaging 17.2 yards per catch.
