HOUSTON – In a batch of inspiration following a theme of overcoming obstacles and embracing an underdog mentality, Texans wide receiver Alex Bachman and safety Brady Breeze designed custom playoff hats and beanies for their teammates.
With the Texans installed as 9 1/2 point underdogs heading into an AFC divisional round playoff game Saturday against the Baltimore Ravens, Breeze and Bachman had hats and beanies designed that say “Vs The World” across the front. It was inspired by rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud’s statement of “Houston Vs. The World” in press conferences and how the team has ignored doubters to build a winner.

The two practice squad members wore the hats and distributed them inside the locker room Thursday afternoon.
“We wanted to do something special,” Breeze said.
On the side of the hat, it had a Biblical verse that said “Romans 12:2.”
On another side, it says, “Houston.”
And there is a Rocket logo that symbolizes the growth of the team from a 3-13-1 worst in the AFC a year ago to 11-7 and AFC South champions this year.
“Yeah, I like them,” Texans cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. said while wearing a Vs The World beanie during interviews.
