Nelson intercepted four passes during the regular season and returned an interception for a touchdown against the Cleveland Browns last week in an AFC wild-card playoff win. He finished the game with seven tackles, tying linebacker Christian Harris for the most on the team against Baltimore.

Nelson is a pending unrestricted free agent.

Texans wide receiver and punt returner Steven Sims Jr., a Travis graduate who scored a touchdown on a return, left the game with a concussion.
