The Galveston Ball Tornadoes are sitting in the first place in their district, a big reason why -- junior guard Taj Petteway.
The two year letterman is averaging 17 points per game, to go a long with 6 rebounds.
“He shoots the ball well, gets to the basket well, he’s deceptive with his speed and his ability to put the ball in the basket,” his coach, Jerald Temple said.
Petteway also prides himself on being a leader for his team.
“I embrace it a lot, seeing all of my teammates makes me happy.”
But not as happy as his head coach, who is excited to have him back for his senior year, in 2025.
