HOUSTON – The Houston Dynamo FC announced the latest additions to Shell Energy Stadium for the 2024 campaign. The Dynamo will kick off the season this Saturday versus Sporting Kansas City in the home opener, powered by Shell Energy, with kick off scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
Tickets to opening night are now available on the Dynamo’s team website. Fans will be treated to festivities to celebrate a historic 2023 season on Saturday night plus an exciting matchup between two rivals on the field. Off the field, fans will enjoy amazing food and beverage options and much more.

HOME OPENER
Orange Avenue returns for Saturday’s game, and this will be the first of five matches to feature the pregame festival along Rusk Ave. The home opener will feature the Michelob Ultra Beer Garden, music by DJ Nemesis and additional festivities. Dynamo fans can enjoy a pregame meal from The Birria Queen or Sip & Sweets Hibachi prior to the home opener. Orange Avenue will return on April 20 when the Dynamo host Austin FC.
Dynamo fans are encouraged to arrive early to take part in the unveiling of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup championship banner. The team clinched their fourth domestic title in 2023 and first since the 2018 edition of the U.S. Open Cup tournament. Additionally, the U.S. Coast Guard will fly over Shell Energy Stadium following the national anthem.
STADIUM EXPERIENCE
Shell Energy Stadium now features an expanded premium pitchside experience following the installation of luxury padded rockers along the east sideline. A limited number of Field Seats, produced by DreamSeat, are available and include access to the East Club, an all-inclusive, air-conditioned space that opened in 2023.
Dynamo season members can enjoy dedicated priority lanes to enter the venue at the Shell Energy, Space City and Bayou City gates. For additional information about Dynamo season memberships and additional benefits, click HERE.
New in 2024, the entrance to the East Club will move to the east concourse doors to facilitate improved ingress and egress. The private East Club gate off Emancipation Street will also serve as an entry to the club. West Club members will continue to have a private entrance to the venue on Rusk Street.
The Club and METRORail will continue to offer fans a free ride to Shell Energy Stadium on game day with a valid match ticket. Fans can reach the stadium by riding the Green Line or Purple Line, which serve the EaDo/Stadium station.
FOOD AND BEVERAGE FOR EVERYONE
The Corona Premier Bar will debut this Saturday as the Dynamo host Sporting Kansas City for the home opener. The space will be open to all fans and offer a full bar, one of seven available throughout the venue.
Fans can still enjoy their favorite local restaurants on game day and new offerings from Levy Restaurants, the official food and vendor partner of the venue. The new menu includes a brisket mac & cheese burrito, chopped cheese and vegan crunch wrap. Trill Burgers, Roostar Vietnamese Grill, Vinny’s Pizza and Taqueria Arandas are among the restaurant partners returning to the venue in 2024. Elotes Bravos also returns to the venue and can be found in section 120. This initiative began in 2023 under the direction of world-renowned chef Hugo Ortega, who will bring his Hugoritas to Shell Energy Stadium at section 115. Additionally, Urbe will return in 2024 and available at section 122.
