Pitre partnered with Group 1 Automotive Inc. in launching a ‘Feed 5 More’ campaign that raised more than $109,000 for Kids Meals Inc. initiatives. Every $10 fed five meals to children facing food insecurity with those crowd-sourced donations matched 100 percent by Group 1 Automotive.

“I am incredibly proud of the impact we’ve all been able to make together,” said Pitre, a former second-round draft pick from Baylor. “The response has been heartwarming, and it’s a testament to the power of teamwork. We’re excited to continue this journey and make an even bigger difference for children in need during the upcoming football season.”

The goal is to raise $250,000 next season to fight childhood hunger in the region.

“The success of 5X campaign has been phenomenal,” said Beth Harp, CEO of Kids Meals Inc. “We’re grateful to Jalen, Group 1 Automotive and every individual who contributed, making the campaign a resounding success. We’re looking forward to another great Texans season and impacting more children’s lives in the fall.”
