HOUSTON – Louisville star running back Isaac Guerendo visited the AFC South champion Texans, per a league source.

Guerendo, who has run the 40-yard dash in 4.33 seconds at 6-foot 221 pounds, also has visits with the Miami Dolphins, Los Angeles Chargers and participated in the Indianapolis Colts’ local prospect day, per sources.

Guerendo had a 41 1/2 inch vertical leap and a 10-9 broad jump with a 6.94 three-cone drill and a 4.15 short shuttle.

A transfer from Wisconsin, Guerendo rushed for 810 yards and 11 touchdowns last season and caught 22 passes for 234 yards and returned 11 kickoffs for a 19.2 return average. He rushed for 385 yards and six touchdowns in his final season for the Badgers and was an honorable-mention All-Big Ten Conference returner who averaged 23.9 yards per return.

The Texans acquired former Cincinnati Bengals Pro Bowl running back Joe Mixon and signed him to a three-year, $27 million contract. They have former Pro Bowl alternate running back Dameon Pierce on the roster, but his production dipped last season and he was replaced by Devin ‘Motor’ Singletary, who signed with the New York Giants, as their primary back.

The Texans have also hosted Kentucky running back Ray Davis for a visit, per a league source.
