HOUSTON – Western Michigan defensive end Marshawn Kneeland excelled at the Senior Bowl all-star game, recording one sack and looked comfortable at outside linebacker during practice sessions.
He reached a speed of 19.8 miles per hour, according to Next Gen Stats.

Now, Kneeland is involved in a heavy draft schedule that includes 16 visits with NFL teams.
Kneeland visited the Texans on Monday, per a league source, and also has visited the Indianapolis Colts, Minnesota Vikings, Carolina Panthers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
He recorded 57 tackles, 4 1/2 sacks, 7 1/2 tackles for losses , two forced fumbles and eight quarterback hurries and was named second-team all-conference. He had three sacks, four tackles for losses, 11 tackles, one safety and a forced fumble recovered for a touchdown against Eastern Michigan.
Two seasons ago, Kneeland had 37 tackles, 10 tackles for losses and 1 1/2 sacks.
The 6-foot-3, 267-pounder was an all-state selection who had 110 tackles, 15 for losses and eight sacks as a senior.
At the NFL scouting combine, he ran a 4.75 and had a 35 1/2 inch vertical leap, a 9-11 broad jump and a 4.18 short shuttle. He bench pressed 225 pounds 21 times.
