HOUSTON – Missouri cornerback Ennis Rakestraw Jr. is visiting the Texans on Monday, according to a league source.
He previously visited the Detroit Lions.

Rakestraw is a projected second-round draft pick.
Last season, Rakestraw allowed just one touchdown and 197 yards on 28 targets.
The Duncanville graduate and West Dallas native ran the 40-yard dash in 4.51 seconds with a 1.54 10-yard split and a 10-foot broad jump.
Rakestraw started eight of nine games last season and recorded 35 tackles, 1 1/2 tackles for losses, four passes deflected and one forced fumble.
He started every game two seasons ago and had 35 tackles, 4 1/3 for losses, an interception and two forced fumbles. He tore his anterior cruciate ligament in 2021. As a freshman, he tied for the team lead with six passes batted away as he started 10 games and had 24 tackles, two for losses and one sack.
Rakestraw (5-11, 183)) is one of several defensive backs to visit the Texans, including Auburn safety Jaylin Simpson, Georgia safety Javon Bullard, Auburn corner, Kentucky corner Andru Phillips and Toronto Argonauts cornerback Qwan’Tez Stiggers.
