HOUSTON – South Carolina wide receiver Xavier Legette visited the Texans and a dozen other NFL teams during the draft process.

Legette also visited the Denver Broncos, San Francisco 49ers ,Los Angeles Chargers, Indianapolis Colts, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Kansas City Chiefs, Philadelphia Eagles, Detroit Lions, Jacksonville Jaguars, Green Bay Packers, Pittsburgh Steelers, Baltimore Ravens.

Legette (6-foot-1, 221 pounds) ran the 40-yard dash in 4.39 seconds at the NFL scouting combine and had 40-inch vertical leap and a 10-6 broad jump.

Legette caught 71 passes for 1,255 yards and seven touchdowns last season. He was named second-team All-Southeastern Conference.

He finished his career with 113 catches for 1,678 yards and 12 touchdowns.

He had a 26.5 return average on kickoffs with one touchdown.
