Texans add to talented wide receiver group

HOUSTON – The Texans have brokered a trade for Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Ben Skowronek, further bolstering an already talented position group, per a league source.

The Texans acquired Skowronek and a 2026 seventh round selection from the Rams in exchange for a 2026 sixth-round draft pick, per a source.

Skowronek was going to be released by the Rams. Instead, he’s joining the Texans and a receiver group that already includes Stefon Diggs, Nico Collins, Tank Dell, Robert Woods, John Metchie III, Noah Brown and Xavier Hutchinson.

A former seventh-round draft pick from Notre Dame, Skowronek is heading into the final year of his four-year, $3.6 million rookie contract

Skowronek caught eight passes for 66 yards and a touchdown last season for the Rams.

Skowronek has 58 career receptions for 575 yards and one touchdown. In 2022, he caught a career-high 39 passes for 376 yards.
