The St. Louis Cardinals are expected to call up right-handed pitcher Adam Kloffenstein, multiple sources tell KPRC 2. Kloffenstein is a 2018 3rd round draft pick out of Magnolia High School to the Toronto Blue Jays.
The righty has had success in Triple-A this season, pitching to a 3.97 ERA for the Memphis Redbirds this season. Kloffenstein came over the Cardinals in a trade deadline deal in 2023, that sent former Cypress Creek star Jordan Hicks to the Blue Jays. Hicks is now a starter with the San Francisco Giants.
