CANTON, Ohio – What’s the first thing that comes to mind when anyone mentions Canton, Ohio?
Pretty simple answer for most folks.
The Birthplace of football is right here in this city which sits about 45 minutes south of Cleveland. Since opening in 1963, the Hall of Fame has grown to the showcase that it is today. Renovations have been constant as have expansions to continue to make it a must stop for any football fan.
“This is a true mecca for anyone that loves football,” said Rich Brothers who is one of the Hall of Fame’s volunteer tour guides. “We really have it all here and and when fans come you can plan to stay awhile to take it all in.”
Three times a week Brothers makes the rounds on the nearly 20-thousand square football showcase that also includes a second floor which features the busts of all of the Hall of Fame members past and present.
