Behind the scenes, Johnson was visibly touched as he hugged his family, friends and former teammates, including retired Texans running back Jonathan Wells.
It was a special moment forever for Johnson, who will be formally inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Saturday as the first Texan to be enshrined in Canton.

The former first-round draft pick from the University of Miami retired in 2016.
Although he had to wait a few years and wasn’t a first-ballot Hall of Fame selection, nothing dimmed the enthusiasm for Johnson.
If anything, the anticipation made it even sweeter and more satisfying.
