Source: Texans signing tight end Chris Myarick to practice squad

HOUSTON – The Texans are signing tight end Chris Myarick to their practice squad following a successful workout, according to a league source.

Myarick (6-foot-5, 261 pounds) played collegiately at Temple.

He has previous stints with the Jacksonville Jaguars, New York Giants, Cincinnati Bengals and Miami Dolphins. He has 10 career receptions for 82 yards and two touchdowns.

The Texans also worked out defensive back Zech McPhearson and linebacker JAcoby Windmon on Thursday, cornerback Micah Abraham on Wednesday along with offensive guards Arlington Hambright and Brady Latham, per sources.
