Texans remove Cameron Erving from practice squad injured list with injury settlement

HOUSTON – The Texans removed veteran offensive lineman Cameron Erving from the practice squad injured list with an injury settlement

Erving, 31, has a leg injury.

Erving is a former Cleveland Browns first-round draft pick from Florida State. He was traded to the Kansas City Chiefs for a fifth-round draft pick in 2017, later playing for the Carolina Panthers, Dallas Cowboys and New Orleans Saints. He started three games last season for New Orleans.

Erving is a 6-foot-5, 315-pound former Super Bowl winner and national champion who was a consensus All-American for the Seminoles. He has started 58 of 98 career games in the NFL.
