It wasn’t pretty but this is the NFL and every win each team will gladly take because W’s are hard to come by. The Texans got out of NRG with a much closer game than anyone outside of the building expected. Houston was a 6-point favorite and won 19-13.
The bottom line is the Texans now sit 2-0 while everyone else in the AFC South is staring at an 0-2 start to this new season.

WHO STOOD OUT?
This was not a great night for the offense which totaled just over 300 yards and a chunk of those came in the fourth quarter.
C.J. Stroud went 23/36 for 260 yards, 1 TD and was sacked 3 times
Nico Collins had another big game with 8 catches for 135 yards and a touchdown after finishing with 117 yards last week vs. the Colts.
Defense: Finished with 7 sacks, 11 his on Bears rookie QB Caleb Williams along with 36 overall pressures. They brought it.
INT’s: Shoutout to Derek Stingley Jr. who ended the 3rd qt with a pick and then early 4th Rookie Kamari Lassister picked up his first interception.
PK Ka’imi Fairbairn: He was a beast again! 4/4 on FG including hits from 56, 47, 59 and 53 yards.
WHAT’S NEXT?
Now sitting at 2-0, HC DeMeco Ryans and the Texans will hit the road again. They travel to Minneapolis to take on the 2-0 Vikings who were 23-17
