Texans sign defensive tackle Tommy Togiai to practice squad

HOUSTON – The Texans signed defensive tackle Tommy Togiai to their practice squad Tuesday following a successful workout last Friday.
They released offensive tackle Braeden Daniels and linebacker Max Tooley.
The Texans auditioned defensive backs Joshuah Bledsoe, A.J. Green and Tre Herndon and Togiai, per a league source.
Togiai played collegiately at Ohio State and was drafted in the fourth round by the Browns. He has also played for the Jaguars and Atlanta Falcons.
Togiai (6-2, 296) has 29 career tackles, one sack and one fumble recovery. in 18 career games with two starts He was released by Atlanta in August.
