Historic victory in New England!

Hello, Texans fans, that’s three straight! The Houston Texans clobbered the New England Patriots over the weekend to pick up their first victory at Gillette Stadium

Offensively they had their best outing putting up 41 points—a season high. Both the run game and the air attack was working as Joe Mixon and Dameon Pierce both galloped to the end zone and through the air Tank Dell was able to get going with his best performance of the season.

While the offense was great, the defense was even better. 4 takeaways for DeMeco Ryan’s defense. They ruined rookie QB, Drake Maye’s debut. Will Anderson Jr. made his presence felt multiple times on Sunday as he had three sacks and a pass deflection that led to an interception. There’s a good chance he’ll be this week’s AFC defensive player of the week.

Sunday was by far the Texans best performance of the year, and the scary part is – they could’ve played even better.

Realistically the Texans did what they were supposed to do—control a game against an inferior opponent. This Sunday against the Packers will be much more of a tougher challenge. In fact, DeMeco Ryans said Jordan Love will be the best QB the Texans have faced this season.

KPRC will have full coverage of Sunday afternoon’s match-up from Lambeau this weekend.
