HOUSTON – The Texans are signing former Los Angeles Rams offensive guard Tremayne Anchrum Jr to the practice squad following a successful workout, per a league source.

Anchrum, 26, played collegiately at Clemson.

He earned a Super Bow ring with the Rams.

Anchrum (6-foot-2, 314 pounds) played three seasons for the Rams. He has stints with the Seattle Seahawks and New Orleans Saints this year.

He has played in 31 career games with one start.

Anchrum is a former Rams seventh-round draft pick.
