Texans corner Kamari Lassiter ruled out with concussion, defensive tackle Foley Fatukasi with foot injury

HOUSTON – Texans rookie standout cornerback Kamari Lassiter was ruled out Sunday night with a concussion.

Lassiter caught some friendly fire on an inadvertent and crushing hit from teammate Jimmie Ward in the second half.

Lassiter went immediately to the blue medical tent for evaluation then headed inside to the locker room.

Lassiter intercepted Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff twice before getting hurt.

A second-round draft pick from Georgia, Lassiter has recorded 28 tackles heading into Sunday night with three interceptions overall and two tackles for losses.

Opposing quarterbacks have completed just 15 of 35 passes for 234 yards for a 42.9 completion percentage with two touchdowns heading into Sunday.

Texans defensive tackle Foley Fatukasi left the game with a foot injury and was ruled out for the remainder of the game.

Pro Bowl left tackle Laremy Tunsil aggravated his ankle injury that’s been bothering him throughout the season, but went back into the game after being evaluated on the sideline.
