HOUSTON – The Texans interviewed Minnesota Vikings assistant offensive coordinator and assistant quarterbacks coach Grant Udinski for their offensive coordinator vacancy, per a league source.
Udinski has also interviewed with the Seattle Seahawks for their offensive coordinator job along with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers,

The Texans have also interviewed their quarterbacks coach Jerrod Johnson, senior offensive assistant Bill Lazor, Syracuse offensive coordinator Jeff Nixon, Los Angeles Rams tight ends coach and passing game coordinator Nick Caley, Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterbacks coach Thad Lewis and are scheduled to interview Washington Commanders assistant head coach and passing game coordinator Brian Johnson on Friday, per league sources.
Udinski, 29, is a highly regarded young assistant coach who has also coached at Baylor and with the Carolina Panthers.
He joined the Vikings in 2022 as assistant to head coach Kevin O’Connell and in charge of special projects before being promoted to assistant quarterbacks coach in 2023. He was recommended to O’Connell from Vikings tight ends coach Brian Angelichio. O’Connell called Udinski’s understanding of football “unbelievable.”
Udinski played collegiately at Towson where he walked on and earned a scholarship and had 4 1/2 sacks as a senior and was an academic All-American.
