Pearcy, a 6-foot-2, 238-pound defensive end-outside linebacker, worked out for Texans player personnel assistant Jonny Kovach and Texans football administration assistant Samantha Thick at Owls’ campus Pro Day.

Pearcy, a New Jersey native whose parents attended the workout, had a 36-inch vertical leap and a 10-2 broad jump and bench pressed 225 pounds 23 times.

“I wanted to show that I’m versatile, I want to show I can play any position,” Pearcy told KPRC 2. “I feel like I looked smooth. I’m going to work hard and do the extra stuff with the way I hustle and finish.”

A three-time team captain, Pearcy, was an academic all-conference selection who was also invited to the Philadelphia Eagles’ local prospect day. He recorded 210 career tackles and 16 sacks with 33 tackles for losses.

“It’s another opportunity to improve on my numbers,” Pearcy said. “Having my parents here, it’s huge. They always went above and beyond for me, supporting my dreams. That means the world. It’s a true blessing.”

Fresch ran the 40-yard dash in 4.34 to 4.40 seconds. The 5-foot-8, 173-pound senior had a 41-inch vertical leap and a 10-4 broad jump. He bench pressed 225 pounds 15 times.

A former All-Conference USA freshman selection, Fresh met with the Green Bay Packers, Washington Commanders, Texans and Kansas City Chiefs at his Pro Day.

Fresch had three career interceptions. He recorded 52 tackles and a career-high nine passes defensed last season.

He had a 9.1 career punt return average and a 21.2 kickoff return average.

Fresch recently had a Zoom meeting with the Las Vegas Raiders.

“I feel like I did pretty good, pretty good numbers, pretty exciting day from start to finish,” Fresch said. “I think I showed them some smooth running ability, not getting stuck in cuts, smooth, fast and controlled and tracking the ball, pretty good in those areas.”

In high school, Fresch was an all-district kick returner and running back. He had 1,377 all-purpose yards as a senior and scored a dozen touchdowns. He also had two interceptions and was a member of the National Honor Society.

“Teams see me as a nickel and I add value as a punt returner,” Fresch said. “It was a good talk, just talking ball.”
